The DIS approach

One point of contact, from design to site.

01

Define

Needs, constraints, budget and success criteria.

02

Design

Layouts, technical choices, procurement and interfaces.

03

Build

Contractor coordination and equipment integration.

04

Start up

Testing, acceptance and handover to operations.

Each phase can be commissioned separately. Scope, deliverables and responsibilities are agreed before work begins.

Engineering, tendering and specialist coordination

Support for turnkey industrial projects within the agreed contractual scope: project engineering and owner assistance, preliminary design (APS), detailed design development (APD), tender documentation (DCE), tendering (AO) and coordination of execution design (EXE).

DIS coordinates interfaces between the process, the architect and specialist engineering firms (BET): electrical engineering, structural engineering, geotechnical engineering and thermal / HVAC engineering. Each party’s scope and responsibilities are agreed for the project.

What does turnkey cover?

The contract defines the engineering, supply, installation, tests and acceptance conditions included. A coordination-only assignment does not itself constitute a complete construction commitment.
